As I prepared for Easter Sunday my emotions felt flat. There wasn’t anything specifically wrong, yet I felt physically and mentally weary from the cares of life.
I’m glad my faith doesn’t rely on feelings because on Resurrection Sunday I still was able to quietly rejoice in confidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and what that means for those who believe in him.

Last week Melissa Michaels from The Inspired Room kicked off The Love Your Home Challenge – Spring 2016. I decided to join in and refresh my house inside while winter and spring were playing tug-of-war outside.
Twice now the outdoor temperature reached 60 degrees, which is unseasonably warm in Minnesota! However, in between those days, snow gently fell and coated our landscape once more. Even so, the partial thaw of ice on our neighborhood lake hinted that the snow wouldn’t be sticking around for long.
